Frogs

I currently have LOTS of frogs on my plot; 17 (adults and froglets) found under 1 pallet covering an (as yet) uncultivated patch.  There is a large farm pond about 15m away.

When I finally dig the whole plot over would it be a good idea to put an old sink into the ground in a shady patch to encourage them to stay, or are they still likely to visit and keep the slugs under control as they seem to at the moment ?

At least 1m. deep and about 5m across. It 's part of the farm next to the site.  I have an old sink I was thinking of burying into the plot at an angle for the frogs.

Are you sure they're frogs not toads? Toads breed later in the year, while frogs do it in early spring, and like deeper water.

a lot of ones living in one of my ponds prefer deeper water, 4-5ft. love to sit on the bottom around the edges all day/night long..
