Gooseberry Sawfly - Today!

Spotted and slaughtered some gooseberry sawfly larvae. On the lower branches, they had stripped about half. Vigilance from now on....

I think I have dealt with wave 1 ! I don't think I have seen the end of them.

I also have the gooseberry sawfly, started picking them off but there are so many
had to spray as last resort, what type of spray do you use, they say liquid derris is good for the job ?.......cheers veggie

i was told soapy water will kill the caterpillars, worth a try costs nothing.
Middlesbrough, non organic.
