Yo peeps

Just feel i has to share this with yooooze alls so i does...... anyways.... last year i remember me garden being saturated with black flying ants... the sight was awesum and i enjoyed every second of it.... well the queens that have survived are now established in me garden... i know some peep here think ants is bad... but dont be a anti-ant cus ants are peeps too.. and today i watched them climbing the stems of me broad beans ... i watched and watched them, me gob was agaped it was.. they is so cooool with there lil ways... anyway to cut a long story short.. they led me to the aphids.... where i just gave a little spray with me dish water and that was them history.... for me its about working with what u has... and anyone who has hot kettle solution all i can say is ANT MURDERER peep,,, NAUGHTY NAUGHTY SPANKY SPANKY NAUGHTY PEEP... if ants are a prob then flood them out with cold water  and they will seek out dryer lands.. they realy is cool for cats... and to think for only a few moments a day u can get down with yer ants... me broadies by the way thinks i iz sexy.... but me carrots thinks i is just all trousers.. but thats life.. and to tell truth me broad beans are much better looking anyways so there ... blinking blonking carrots... what do they know anyways? .... and this is turning into a babble so best hit post and see what jibberising jibber I has jibbered out today.... but if me mem serves me correct its about saving a ants life day.. and for only a few considerations a day ...you too can help those ants who are in desperate need of protection to lead a happy and fullfilled life.... be nice to ants.. you know it makes.... something or other....

Fraid I can't agree with you about the ants - gives me the creeps they do, especially the red ones :o

I wouldn't mind if they ate the aphids, but I believe they only milk them so they don't really do the plants any favours.  Sorry Oz, I don't share your passion for ants. :D ;) :)

On holiday in Greece and at an open-air "Village Evening" where we could see nothing of the show it still ended up a hilarious night because we spent it watching ants pick up and carry away rice grains dropped from our meals - bets were laid (and honoured!) helped along of course by the free local wine! So Ozzy, Yes lets hear it for ants - sometimes!
