 Hi debjay,  :D
I think everyones peas & broad beans are getting hit this year by them, mine certainly are,  :(  There have been several post on the subject, look in the search section. However most people consider them not too much of a nuisance & the peas & beans shrug off the attacks when they get growing strongly.

Yes, i posted in a different place yesterday about this as i didn't know what they were.

I'm praying my seedlings are big enough to cope with them.

My first sowings of peas were almost dessimated and I had to resow.  I have now planted out my mange tout and they are also being chomped away.  Not sure what to do.  I will do a search to find the other thread.

In the Kitchen Garden, April edition they advise to use Vitax Py Powder which will control the Bean Weevils and Aphids....

Is this organic though???

Most of my direct-sown seedlings have outgrown the earlier devastation by those pesky weevils.
