thought I'd better bump this up, just to see if anyone knows what to do with them, Jeannine ?  ;D

Hi... yes I grow these in pots, they will grow long vines but will scramble up a trellis (with appropriate  tying in) or over a wall . I did some alongside the beans on my beans fence a couple of years ago.Last Year I did some in the greenhouse alongside the cukes but they were not happy, I did finally put them outside but the floods then got the plants.

It actually is an acorn squash although it keeps much better.

thanks, Jeannine, I am thinking of selling some of these for the children at the plant sale, will they be ok in black Morrison's buckets ?

Jeannine

Yes I think so but they would need to feed them and water them well, by the way there us a white version called Baby Boo which might go well too.XX Jeannine
