Squash plants as freebies

 Hi, I have just been potting on in my greenhouse and have a number of Winter Squash plants to give away. I don't need anything in return although I won't say no to anything that is sent for my childrens group seed collection. I do not want the postage re inbursed by the way, I am just happy that they will be appreciated. They are my babies after all!!!

There is 1 only of the following varieties,they are all Winter Squash or Pumpkins and will keep several months in storage after harvest. There are no Summer Squash among them. You may not be familiar with some as I import a lot of my seeds.

All the plants are from seeds I have purchased and not grown  by me or received in swaps therefore thay will be pure.

Apart from 1 they are all open pollinated and you could save seeds for next year.

Because it is a nice day and many folks are out I will  confirm who will get them tomorrow evening.In the event that several people PM me ,in order to be fair I will draw the name out of a hat.

These are good strong plants, I will do my best to pack them well and let the  new owner know the minute they are dispatched.

There are 16 different plants,I don't want to send them individually because I think they will travel better together but I may split them into lots.

They will be packed in plastic individually with a root ball.

They will need to be kept warm as it far too early to put them out, and they will want potting into 4-6inch pots on arrival.

Plants don't do well sent to me via Royal Mail: My front door is inaccessible so all packets go to the local depot where they invariably lose them  ::)
