Hi

I built a pond last year using a bargain from dobbies! pond liner and pump set.  The Pond is fine however i am thinking of redigging it.  The problem with a liner is you need something at the edges to go round eg slabs grass. I have a mixture of gravel and rocks around mines at the mo.  But it looks too uniform.  Has anyone built a pond from concrete.  Is it as easy as it would appear.

Can be done, but hard work. you will still need a plastic liner. If you dig down in your garden do you find clay. If so use big slabs of it to line a natural pond.

you don't always need a plastic liner, there is special pond concrete sealant that will stop leaching, concrete unsealed affects the pH.
