Mine are going in this week whatever she says. They'll need to go out into the mini greenhouse, and they grow slowly there in a cold spring. A good start is just what they need.

All well and good for her to say plant tomatoe seeds - but I have had some brandywine tomatoe seeds (and others) on order from SR's since 9th February and every time I phone to ask the status of my order they say they are having problems.  Friday last week I was told that they posted my order (minus Brandwine seeds) on Thursday...  They also cannot tell me when I can expect the back order (especially the Brandywine) seeds to be posted.  The clock ticks.

Well the postie has come and gone and still no seeds. This is my first time ordering from her company and I must say it has not been a pleasant experience.

Glad you said that, No7 - you could have been forgiven for not knowing that in some cases?

It might be a pregnant dog. (I actually wrote 'bitch'. 'Pregnant dog' is downright ridiculous.)

and similar to the comment in an article in this month's The Garden.  SOmething along the lines of you can tell if a cutting has died as three months later it will be brown, those that have taken will have leaves.  Well I never.
