Blended Manure

I've got several bags of what is called blended farmyard manure (not composted). Is it too late to put this in a potato trench?

I'm planning to put my earlies in a couple of weeks.

Perfect timing, in my experience. I love to nestle potatoes into a trench with a nice blanket of manure and compost. Put 10 Red Duke of York in today as an experiment, the weather here (East Sussex) being so mild.
