Bit dissappointed now with the butchers that I thought I might use. Brought some chicken wings for our animal food and opened the bag and they were starting to smell and one was surely going off little brown. I've cooked them as they aren't for me to eat but bang goes my thought for buying anything else from there.

Tim, I think it might only work really well if you have Aga ( as you do you lucky...) They took ages and ages and were quite nice but not worth wait. Sigh, back to grill.
Don't throw paper away. There is no away.

Many years ago we used to give a lift to our local butchers son to playgroup.  One morning he got in the car & proudly announced that his daddy had got a new machine for 'injecting water into the hams'.

Tim the chops look amazing & I can almost smell them sizzling in the Aga - however haven't eaten meat for nearly 20 years so probably too late to start again.  Still miss the taste though.

Empathy, Emmy - I wouldn't put the oven on for 28min either.

But I find it difficult with grilling to get really crispy fat with just pink meat.
