Went to Aldi today and most of the trees were sold out, only managed to get the cooking apple one, which was a good thing anyway.

Really wanted a pear tree, are there anymore shops selling these cheap ?

I just bought a named Damson (Merryweather) on a rootstock for £9-99 from Homebase and it's a good sized tree about 7 foot. That is the cheapest Damson i have found except Parker's which everyone told me might be a little stick and it was the same price as Homebase.
So I am happy I just have to decide where to plant it!
