I have got some collardseeds also cold greens.How do i treat them,and is it true that collards are in fact non-heading cabbages.

Hi Ruud - afaik, just the amrican name for the non-heading cabbages we call Spring Cabbage.  All best - Gavin

While it is true that collards were originally cabbage cut before heading modern varieties of collards, such as cv. 'Vates', are bred specifically to produce only leaves. They will never produce a 'cabbage' head per se but will instead run to seed.
