I've got my first greenhouse  :)

I have germinated my first tomato and cucumber seeds :)

I've lobbed them in to said greenhouse, in Shropshire, without heat.

Today, when I ventured in to the greenhouse the thermometer read 28 degrees ... but I have no idea how cold it gets at night ... and no I don't want to go out in the middle of the night, LOL...

So, where's the best place of getting a min/max thermometer from?

Thanks in advance

What price technology eh! Tim? ;)

I have become even lazier my system is actually a Barometer with Max/Min facilities and the unit is in the kitchen and the wirless remote sensor is in the greenhouse at the bottom of the garden.

Before going to bed I have a look to see how things are, in case I have to nip up to the greenhouse and turn on the fan heater to supplement the heat.

Up to press the fan heater has not been on this year yet.

Plus I can look at the barometer and see if I am going to be sat at my computer or going down the plot to do a bit of real work the following day.

Ah! this retired life is a beaut!!

I love the idea of the wireless remote sensor! However, for now I am the proud owner of a cheap 'n' cheerful min/max thermometer from Wilkos for the princely sum of £4.99 ... and I avoided the temptations by sending DH!

Thanks all :)

We have a real barometer - my Grandfather's - which I am told is now illegal because of the mercury.

Does everyone in the EU drink the stuff??
