A veg-growing friend is having trouble with foxes - digging up his carrots, pooing everywhere, generally being a nuisance. Does anyone have any good suggestions on how to discourage them?
(and no, there isn't a local hunt...)

I've just used barriers on my raised beds, metal mesh has stopped them digging up my onions/garlic/shallots, but they poo on it contempt!

I'm planning to cover most beds with either fleece, mesh or netting depending on the crop; my long rows where potatoes will be, I don't know what might put them off? some of that composted lion poo? ???
If it's not pouring with rain, I'm either in the garden or at the lottie! Probably still there in the rain as well TBH....🥴

I'm sure someone on here said male urine will stop them, know any males deb ?   :)

My OH might be OK with the odd discreet widdle in the compost heap, but I'm not sure he's exhibitionist enough to cover the whole lottie!! ;D ;D

Or he could just use a watering can I suppose ;).....
