Hello there,

needing a quick bit of advice -
I have a 10 pack of the above anemone do caen - but they should have gone in over a month ago - Am I too late?
They are very dry and hard, would they benefit from soaking?

Anemone do caen are a late flowerer and ideally should go in around early/mid June. They're slow to show so mark where you put them. The tubers are normally shrivelled to look at and should be soaked over-night before planting.

Forgot to say, plant them in a sunny border 1-2in deep and with a 4" to 6" gap.

:)

I put mine in last April, didn't soak them,  they flowered fantastically, great as cut flowers, they still grow in a vase,

mine have been in flower at lottie for over two weeks / shades x
grow your own way

Once they get going they take some stopping! It was an odd weather year last year but April shouldn't harm them, it's just that you need to be careful you don't plant on top of them before they show, that and the fact they are a late flowerer is why June is OK.

Cool!
I'll hang on to them then.

Thanks for the advice.
