Dirty Veg

I see the so called experts have done analyzed washed veg compared to unwashed and have found that unwashed keeps longer, could have told them that years ago. As an ex market gardener we had to start washing parsnips and found out almost within days that they started to go soft and loose there colour after about 3 days.

I knew that, I heard that from a greengrocer fella years ago.  However, he also pointed out that when posh ladies are gathering their Jersey Royals from the muudy sacks, the soil has been added for effect!  ;D
