Bored tonight.
Live in a small village, the local pub is so crap.
Next village pub is great but the drive! I do like a drink. Could walk but the lane is a death trap, did a 5ml. walk with OH today. The bas***s in the 4*4's are arse***es, don't slow down.
OH trying to find something worthwhile on the goggle - no chance!

we've been to leicester today, wet, cold, dark at 3 o'clock, worn out from all the festivities, won't make midnight, won't be able to sleep because the fireworks that rattle the windows started 2 hours ago, both got the sniffles
happy new year, everyone  :)

we'll just have to sit and daydream about hot, bright summer days  ;D

OH doesn't drink, so seems a bit pointless going out tonight - we'd go dancing if we could find somewhere local, but of course everywhere is full of drinkers.  

Driven back from Wales this afternoon in the driving rain and terrible wind, so quite pleased to be indoors.

Got rice pudding cooking in the oven ... mmm


Watching grumpy new year on TV, waiting for Jools Holland to come one, drinking tea from my new dog cup.

Me too Derek! Found the thread, but by then it was locked and then there was no-one in the chatroom so I couldn't chat either! Boohoo! Just had to retire with a small malt and admit defeat! ;)
