phew, running about like a maddy in here just now.

didn't get out of work til gone 4pm (so much for breaking up early lol), car wouldn't start (great), then it did, filled up with petrol, rushed home, have packed EVERYTHING in the house that I can possibly wear. 

Don't know we're going to fit everything in the car, thank goodness we decided to drive and not to fly.

ANYWAY back to the subject in hand.

Got a phone call from another candidate (the one that trained me) at about 12.10 saying the letters were coming out at 12.30.  then we agreed (like schoolies) that we'd open our letters together. she got hers first, gave me a call and told me HR dude was heading my way.  i tried to look surprised when she turned up, grabbed the envelope out of her hand and rushed out the back to where schoolie chum was waiting.  We BOTH got it !  AND we'll be working for Mr lovely but terribly disorganised boss that we have both worked under before, so it will be a reunion in the New Year.  Not got a start date yet, it's when my present department can release me ........... PLEASE release me let me go shoobie doo shoobie do.

Phoned my current boss (off sick having crashed to the floor at the christmas party and knocked herself unconscious for 20 mins !) and she was shrieking at one end of the phone with me shrieking at the other roflmao

so my head has been all over the place today (me having had a bottle of rose to myself last night, i wasn't in the greatest shape this morning either), and then i had to get the stats done and cancel something that i'd spent all morning rearranging!  such is life in my company!

the one i didn't want to get it didn't, so all in all not a bad day's work.

just waiting for bessie friend to come round so i can show him how to refill and relight the g/h heater.  OH wants to leave at midnight rather than 5am to beat the fog and the traffic.  still got to do a route map to kid's new address, but wanted to get on here and share the good tidings !

so i'll depart with .....
