Went to the plot today to find that the wooden car trailer I am using as a tool/goods store before getting my shed has been moved closer to my plot. 1 foot closer.  It lives - with permission - in an area no-one can access but me.

Ok, fair-do's. Obviously, it's a little too ugly to be seen from the private road lined with £1m plus houses this little area borders, particularly when the blue tarpaulin covering the trailer may have been caught by the wind.  I have no problem with that. I acknowledge that I am unable to be on site every day to stop things going a little awry in our current weather pattern and am grateful that, if it were flying around the site, someone has been kind enough to return the tarpaulin.

What I have a problem with is that whoever moved the trailer has folded the tarpaulin ontop & weighed it down with stones, allowing the wooden top"doors" & metal hinges to get good and sodden, the tarpaulin to get weighed down with hidden water to keep the worms on the trailer top moist and, above all else, mullered one of the tyres (flat, twisted, half off the wheel drum).

I am exceedingly P'd Orf! and to make matters worse, I can't find the bleeding telephone number of the site secretary to do some research and offer my telephone number to the person I suspect is responsible of doing this!

What's wrong with ASKING if someone if they can move their X from A to B, please, because it's in the way/butt ugly/clashes with the geraniums etc. This, I have no problem with, let's maintain the entent cordialle and communicate! I wouldn't DREAM of moving someone's property without their permission because it is THEIR property, not mine, and to do so is RUDE and.. AARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Sorry...

Bummer.
But are you sure the person who moved the trailer is the same that folded up the tarp? Could the tarp have blown off another day, even yesterday, and someone just tried to save it for you but didn't really have time to stay and recover the trailer? Just a thought. :( Maybe they've lost the site secretary's number too? :)

Tina.
