OK, I was a bit naughty at the beginning of the year. I went to Majorca .... and while there, noticed that someone had thrown away pads from a prickly pear cactus!. (they had a lovely trip back in my suitcase) Some dont look that nice at the moment, but the little pads that grow from them are perfect.

Each pad grows HUGE.  about 50 cm long and 30 cm wide ( maybe even bigger)

I have 3 pads outside - and they are going to die if they dont go to good homes!

They all have massive root systems....all that would be needed is a fairly large pot ( more wide than deep), any type of soil and a few handfulls of sand to mix into it.

They need to be BURIED in the soil as much as possible because they are rooting from EVERYWHERE!

I would like to swap if possible ( for vege seeds, house plants ,  anything weird etc) , but if swapping isnt possible, I'd be willing to post free of charge to avoid their impending death.

My email is leesa662003@hotmail.co.uk

Or you could reply here.   But reply fast ! - I only have 3 , and I cant imagine them surviving outside for much longer.

Whether or not you have any left I have a selection of veggie seeds so please let me know what kind of thing you are interested in and I will let you know what I  have.

Kind regards

Hi,

Just to let everyone know. I've found new homes for all the pieces of cactus now.

I'm suprised at how quickly they went!

I have lots of bryophyllum plants (daigremontainum) plants too if anyones interested.

To find out more info on them, go to www.bryophyllum.com
(you can copy the address and paste in internet address)

These also need good homes for fear of their death!. You can have them free or I'd swap for them? - I'm after vege seeds..... any houseplants... well, any plant really! Please let me know how many you want - and which types as I have too many of most of the species!

I have 100's of these so feel free to pm me.
