Help Please

I have just had a pop up on my pewter telling me i have been visiting PORN sites :o
which i have not it says to download a cleaner because my hard drive has the evidence there is no way i look at these sites.  This feels a little threating to me what do i do please.  Is this one of those scams to get into my puter??.

Ignore it, Rosebud.  A pop-up can't read your hard drive and under no circumstances download 'the cleaner'.

Thanks Georgie, no i havent downloaded anything untill i heard from someone.
It has been back again since i posted!! so i shall just ignore it Thank you.  Mary. ;D

Hi Rosebud,

This is just a scam to entice you into downloading their software. As Georgie says, just ignore it, it is probably riddled with spyware anyway.

I reckon if you didnt ask for something ignore it.

When you want to close those annoying boxes that pop up use the X in the top right hand corner and NOT the CLOSE button. If you click that it will download the spyware or whatever the nasty piece of work is trying to kid you to download.

If it wont go away switch it off the internet.

Also, if you can see it on the taskbar you can try right clicking and closing
