Some did brilliantly, other didn't do much. Clear Pink Early, Taxi and Prima were far and away the best outside; Stupice and Buckbee would probably have been as good if I'd planted more. I'm hoping to get a greenhouse up over the winter, and try Black Seaman again; it's a superb tom, but too late for outdoors, and I had a lot of trouble with splitting when the rain started.

If you've got any more early ones, I'd love to try them. You never know, some of these might catch on more widely over here; they deserve to.

when would you plant these early ones? (in a greenhouse)

I don't have a greenhouse, but I'd probably do the same as I do for outdoor growing, and start them in March, indoors. They go out in the mini-greenhouse once we get some spring-like weather in April, till late May or early June, when I'd expect to see the ones in the greenhouse getting ahead of the ones outside. If we get another hot summer, watch the ventilation. My Texan friends have confirmed that they don't like temperatures over about 75 F, and soon stop flowering.
