Yes yes, I know it should probably have gone in the recipe board, but as it is chitter rather than recipes, I thought it could go here.  :)

We are on home made pizza using home made tom sauce, home reared courgettes and onions, oh, and probably a sprinkling of home grown chillis!  Regulation cheese and spicy salami of course - my darling wouldn't have it any other way.  All served with coleslaw, all home grown - cabbage, beetroot, onion and carrot.  mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

I am having boeuf bourguignon ( with a whole bottle of red wine cooked in it  ) lots of traffic problems so called boss and told him i would be late in. And got dinner on, it should be nicly cooked by the time i get home.

Served with spuds from allotment, magetou from shop and carrots from friends allotment!

and no there is only enough for me and husband so you cant all come and join us :-)

Mushrooms in breadcrumbs with a garlic and herb dressing followed by chicken in a cream and white wine sauce and a nice bottle of white wine :)

Basic bol:

2 kg beef mince
8 onions
lots of herbs to taste
minced black beans (about 2 tbs)
salt and pepper
3 litres passata
6 bulbs of garlic

into the pressure cooker and forget about it for 20 mins once it comes to pressure.
Pack in freezer bags for hungry son's 'instant meals' - I get pot scrapings tonight ;D

Well I've had a devil of a day ... and I got three blasted cashew nuts for my lunch, a cereal bar for my brekkers and what was for dinner?? ... well baked parmesan eggs, but I baked em in massive mushrooms I got from the farmers market and had fresh bread sticks as soldiers ... blummin' lovely!

Boiled gammon (doesn't sound very exciting I know, but it's so moist compared to roasted  :P)

Spiced red cabbage & roasted root veg

really busy in the garden today so early on I made a vat of chicken soup with the remains of yesterday's stuffed chicken (herb stuffing from the garden) + red onion, chillies, 2 types of carrots, 3 types of potatoes and 4 varieties of tomatoes ::) in chicken stock with a dinky bouquet garni of herbs tied up with half a shoelace ;D  Every time I came in for a break I had a bowl full, so I guess that included dinner as well.
