Global warming?

Walking round the garden this afternoon, I discovered,to my amazement, I have wild violets in flower!

Anyone else have plants that shouldn't be flowering at this time of year?

how about apple trees, this mild weather is supposed to be carrying on at least 'til friday, according to countryfile,it sure beats cold, wet and miserable

Wild violets been going like the clappers and still superb :D

I have a cowslip/polyanthus hybrid flowering, which has never done so at this time of year before.

Yes, I've got wild violets still in flower, along with something that looks like a yellow wallflower (which I didn't plant!) - I thought these were spring/early summer flowering?

I find wild violets do flower any month of the year, specially the young self-sown ones.  The primulas are the same.

I don't think it has to do with global warming - after all these are plants of the temperate regions,more likely this years odd weather.
