Anyone know anything about Wax Beans?

As a long-time transplanted Yank, I am wondering whether I can find seeds for the yellow, mild wax beans I ate in salads as a kid. They were tinned but very tasty.

Garden Organic has a yellow bean in its catalogue, which I'll probably try for next year - it's a dwarf french.

Just wondering if anyone has grown them.

Dwarf Bean Sonesta should fit the bill greenjeans, it's rounded, firm, tender, tasty, and prolific - I grew it for the first time this year and it's gonna be a regular :)

We grew a yellow waxpod from Seeds of Italy this year - Meraviglia di Venezia - and have been pleased with the results as they have been quite prolific.  The only down side has been the timing, as they are a later variety, but then, being in the north of England in the first place, we were pleased to see results from an Italian variety at all.  Apparently there is also a dwarf variety.
