So nice to hear from you, Mia -  yes, read it this am - but are T&M out of US clutches yet?

Multiveg

I'm a bit disappointed with the catalogue - nothing jumps out at me saying BUY ME. I was tempted with the hairy balls last year but wasn't brave (or insane) enough to order. The offers don't seem to be as good this year!
Am not sure if I will place an order this year. I still need seed, but will make my final decision after the other catalogues (Organic Gardening Catalogue, Tuckers, DT Brown) arrive. Should also be getting the Heritage Seed Library catalogue later this year (when hubby renews membership).

And my friends, Simpsonsseeds! For plants as well.

Which reminds me - being a lazy soandso - I do buy-in plants to back up my own. The best so far - especially for brassica type things - has been www.organicplants.co.uk/ .

I don't need any more temptations, thankyou Tim. I've heard Simpsons have a good reputation. Oh sod it, just requested a catalogue from them.

I'm a sucker for family businesses - like Real Seeds.

Multiveg

I've ordered from Real Seeds (VidaVerde?) before - the Albertos Locoto, Rocoto Chilli is doing nicely. Unfortunately, my melons didn't grow very well yielding nuffink. I grew a mystery mix of squashes which grew nicely a couple of years back.

I've been very pleased with my seeds from Real Seeds too [except for melon which I didn't manage to grow at all].  I thought I'd begin my order with them then look at Seeds of Italy & then buy the things they don't sell elsewhere.

Real Seeds and Seeds of Italy are mainstays. Marshalls for all those winter brassica plants. But the OHG has started agitating for us to grow psb, kale, etc from seed. Next year?
This year it's squash.
