[Yellow Petals]

Can anybody suggest an outlet with reasonable priced fencing, more importantly fence posts?  Local DIY stores are not cheap when you add it all up (unless I'm being really tight)

Buiders merchants? My local jewsons will put pointy ends on lengths of e.g. 2x2 and cut them for free - you only pay for the length of wood.

We got really cheap stuff from www.challengefencing.com. I suppose it depends where you live whether they are convenient or not.

I can recomend a local sawmill but might be a treck from cambridgeshire.

I found that iron angled posts are the best and managed to find an old works that actualy cut them for me and angled the bottoms whilst I waited. 6' posts for approx £2.25.  They are easy to knock into the soil with a sledge hammer.  I used windbreak netting for my fencing from Kays, think I paid approx £30 a few years ago for a 50m roll.
