Need advice -

1. How many clusters of eggs can one c/w lay?

2. How long is the life cycle - from egg to c/w?

Our brassica are covered to the ground - where they are folded over - & STILL the little darlings sidle in somehere.

I think they must lay their eggs nearby and the tiny caterpillars crawl through the mesh. Definitly no eggs on brassicas but I do find really tiny caterpilllars inside mesh. Some grow a little bigger before I squash them. The mesh is firmly secured all the way round
