I knew she would have a good time.  My number one son is hating being back at school - hard for me as his sister adores school, and I did so I find it really strange that he doesn't.  His new teacher is a lovely, kind lady - daughter number one thoroughly enjoyed year one with this teacher and can't understand why he doesn't like it.  I'm afraid he is a mummies boy and would be quite happy pottering around at home with me.  Glad toots is being so cool about school and enjoying it.  Makes life so much easier for you emotionally.....well....in the one sense..... :)

My son has said he doesn't like school from about year one...maybe it's a boy thing?  I know he gets a  little bored sometimes so I'm always pleased if something sparks his interest.I like to see him get animated about a subject. He was quite pleased last year in the growing plants part of key stage two that they were doing because he could tell the teacher one or two things ! He hadn't really been interested in the plants bit in year one, two. Must have pressed the right buttons last year.

When taking Toot home on Friday I bumped into one of the mums going to pick up her little boy from nursery. She said "I hope he is in a better mood than he was when I left him." Showing me a bruise on her upper arm. Yikes!

Make the most of today, because you'll never have it back again.

Hi Caz.  All is going well. infact toots was disappionted she wasn't able to go this morning when we left her brother at school. I had to explain that her time was after lunch, that didn't do much for her so I told her her little friend was coming to play and only then was she happy to go back home!
