Hi there

I wonder if anyone could tell me/ or recommend which rhubarb is the best to grow down in the Dorset area.  I quite like the Pink Rhubarb (Champagne?)that I bought once but how easy is it to grow ?  - also is it worth growing from seed or buying a 'crown'.

Thanks and look forward to hearing from you.

victoria is also hard to kill. my seedlings all withered and died in the heat wave and when it rained, they popped up again.

mrs KP, I haven't forgotten my promise, I will send some, it's on my list of things to do and part of me doesn't want to send seedlings that A: will die, B: are laughable and C: are sooooo benettsleg (all of the above!)  ;D

A couple of the newer ones Cawood and Stockbridge Arrow are supposed to be very good... mine just came with the allotment,....

Thanks for all the replies guys.  Did not realise that I would have to wait two years to start tasting them.  Oh well, better late than never.  I might just plant some more in 12 months time just to ensure a continual supply.
