Thank you, Ava and Emma Jane.  Heart-searing in the poetry of observing simple and ordinary things.  A brave lass, that.

Whilst you were on promise, trolled thru that EJ.  Now understand a lot more, maybe lazy, but never seen anything like that before.

Was a real eye opener and think more peeps should learn from it.

Certainly food for thought EJ, thanks. That's the beauty of this site - such a wide range of topics and views from people.
Lived in Caithness when young(er) when Dounreay Experimental Nuclear Reactor was built there because of its remoteness (?) but in the beginning it was welcomed as it provided massive employment where there was none.  Later we learnt there was also a downside and now it is eventually being decommissioned - tho won't be completed until 2047/62.  So it is a case of "there but for the grace of .....".
Equality isn't everyone being the same, equality is recognising that being different is normal.

Aye, and there are a few nasty secrets coming out about some of the practices in Dounreay.  Scary stuff.

All best - Gavin

Thanks for the link EJ and Ava.

Such evocative images. Makes one want to delve further into the subject. After a while such disasters are forgotten about, but those people are still dealing with the awful consequences on a daily basis. Certainly makes one think about the impact on future generations.  :(
