I was given some free bulbs/corms of this plant so thought I'd give it a try.  I really can't make up my mind whether I like it or not.  Perhaps with hindsight it would look better in the ground rather than in a window box?  It's not like me to dither like this, maybe it's my age!   ::)  G x

Hawkweed

If you plant it in the ground you will never get rid of it I can assure you. Better to sink it in a container.

But what is the point of this plant?  Neither the leaves nor the flowers are scented, you can't eat it and I've not seen one beneficial insect anywhere near it.  I think I've just answered my own question.  It's going at the end of the season!

Heldi

I've got some of it in a tub. I actually like yours Georgie whereas mine looks...well..pathetic really. It's the foliage I like.

Georgie

You are more than welcome to the bulbs/corms Heldi when it dies down the winter (which I assume it does?).  Send me a PM you you want them.

I'm with Hawkweed!  I have it, and try and try to get rid of it, but still it returns!

You will never ever be rid of it if you plant it in the garden, we have been trying for years and years its a bl***y pest.  Georgie be warned.

Georgie

LOL it's okay, I'm trying to palm it off on Heldi!   ;)
