Has anyone tried growing these? Are they fussy/ easy/disease-suceptible,etc...? I came across these recently in a supermarket and bought a few to try - their flavour is outstanding! I still have one or two left and would like to try saving seed for next year - anyone have a tried and tested technique for saving trom seed? In case the seed isn't viable next year, would also appreciate any advice on where I could buy these seeds commercially, as I have never come across this variety before. Many thanks in advance!  :D

1. No problem.
2. Poor yield but outstanding flavour.
3 SimpsonsSeeds & others.
4. Harvest when there is a hint of yellow/orange. And by feel.

sorry Tim - I seem to have made a mistake - they are called "Sweet/Green Zebras" here in Belgium, but I've just done some research and realised that they are in fact not Green Zebras, but Black Zebras! Do your comments still apply? THX!

To save tomato seed, squeeze the juics and seeds from 3-4 toms into a jar, and leave it for a few days to go mouldy. Seriously; the mould breaks down the sticky covering on the seeds. Then wash repeatedly till you end up with seeds sitting at the bottom of a jar of clear water. Dry them out on a piece of paper, and store dry till next season. They're self-pollinating, so should come true.
