Monty Don said that it was time to move ones Snowdrops, so being a good little boy I did. 3 wheelbarrow loads of them. It has taken 4 of us almost all day to lift and replant them. I would not have bothered but they were growing in the path through our little wood. And don't forget that the soil in there is a mixture of leaf mould and broken glass. Naturally the fork went 'bang' in one place and when I dug down, there was a trough/sink/? nicely buried in the "soil". Leave it or difg it out?. Depends on the weight. Will post a photo sometime.
