I refuse to buy them from shops now I have them on my allotment. Why should I pay for raspberries grown probably less than 10 miles from my home but have probably travelled so much further.
I have been lucky with my rasps this year they are fruiting well and my 3 year old nephew loves eating them straight from the bush. ;D

£2-3 per tiny little punnet makes me want to weep! I'm a raspberry obsessive and I still rarely bother paying that price.

I had to give up my lottie earlier this year with it's raspberry canes (only planted last year too!) so I am planning to go for one big trip to the pick-your-own to gorge myself and then freeze and make tons of jam!
Lottie-less until I can afford a house with it's own garden.
