PCI 64-Q3D II sound card drivers.

Hi
Any advice appreciated. Daughter put XP on PC and has overwritten the above drivers. Not got a disk, they were on the hard drive when supplied by PC World and now wiped off!

Cant seem to find site to download them for her.

She is not on the internet just now so cant do windows update.

That's an old soundcard and may not be supported by XP. They were were by Aztech but reached their EOL (end of life) some time ago. The Aztech support pages have the 95/98 driver and an NT driver but there is no upgraded driver since. I would try these drivers.

Alternatively you could buy a soundcard that is xp compatable for next to nothing (£4.49)nowadays but watch out for P&P so get local if possible.

Your searching is better than mine.

Unfortunately said drivers although listed are no longer available when you click th elink. They have recently been taken off the data base.

found said drivers and downloaded. Talking to daughter again it sounds as though the card is not seen either since putting on XP. Maybe she will be better to buy a new sound card as you suggest. I will phone her and let her decicde.
