First early potato Mimi

Anyone else have a problem with slugs on these? My Red Dukes planted next to them are in 95% perfect condition but the Mimis are ruined, roughly 3 quarters are riddled with slug holes, sad really because they have a good flavour but I won't be growing them again - "too much pain for too little gain", still, that's why I experimented with so many different varieties this year

3rd year them and still very pleased.

Strange, sadly I can't afford the waste so no more Mimi for mi   :)

Homeguard was nothing to write home about either but Sharpe's Express looks more promising. Will try them again next year and a few more FE's from Ryton potato day

                I am very pleased with my mimi`s, lovely small first earlies, plenty of slugs on my plot but they have not touched them. However I am a little bit surprised with my red dke of yorks, the yield is ok but when cooked they are very floury, & the red skins just fall off. This is not what i thought a first early should be like, i want them waxy & firm  ::) Are they normally like this  ???

I put 6 Mimi's in and they were cute but don't think I shall bother with them again such a small harvest and I thought the taste was nothing too special really compared to even the early rocket I had put in.

Will definitely be giving mimi a miss next year, terrible yield, tubers so small it's a pain in the neck to dig them. The slugs can have 'em!  >:(
