:-\

Uncovered mine from the mat of weeds which overwhelmed them (and me!) this morning. Most are fine, but some have been slugged and have very scant foliage. Will they survive?

Most are fine - yay! ;D
Weeded now - double yay! ;D ;D
The rest - they have six to nine months of growing still to do and want to live. If you give them a little help by keeping them moist, and they should pop up new leaves :)

Hi katy,  :D
Last year my celariacs did most of their growing late in the season, they bulked up from the end of August onwards, so as supersprout said, keep them watered & they should be fine. I did leave mine in the ground right through the winter, & covered with fleece they lasted into february with no probs.

yes, I agree, give them some tlc and they should be fine. last year mine also did most of their bulking up in the last few months.
