but it's my first sunflower and I think it's lovely. It's only a miniature one but looks lovely on my desktop !  Going to send the pic to myself at work tomorrow so I can have a bit of sunshine in my dreary office.

my complete plot is a pure accident this year and everything that happens is a complete surprise and wonder to me.

i even learned how to squish some blackfly this morning and got over the "eugh" stage quite quickly.  i still jump back 10 foot when i accidentally touch a slug, but i am improving.
