I should explain perhaps ...

just as a bit of fun (being that sort of person) I trawl the charity shops for 'loud' shirts for wearing around the resorts on holiday. Come the evening, then I slip my Christian Dior silk shirts on, (also from charity shops) so at least appear a shade more refined.

The loud shirts thing is something I acquired from my army days, when the lads used to be in competition to wear the loudest (and foulest) shirt imaginable ...

One of the offices my OH used to work in used to have "bad taste" Fridays, where all the men would compete against each other by wearing their loudest shirts and their vulgarest ties.  It was quite a fun place to work!  :D busy_lizzie
