Radish seedlings

Hello
I have planted radishes for the first time this year, however, I started them in a seed tray and have since been told that I should have planted straight out, should I leave them where they are now or do you think transplanting would be okay?

I would appreciate any advice

Best radishes I ever grew were grown and picked from a seed tray.  I find I forget about the ones planted out.

Sling the tray on the compost heap and sow outside asap.  Transplanting will waste your time

Just eaten some radish that were grown in a seed tray on my doorstep!  Lovely!

There's also the possibility of eating some, and leaving the rest (in the seed tray) to go to seed. You then get the most amazing, edible, crunchy radish pods.

So nice, that this year I planted up two pots of radishes - and left the whole lot to go to seed. They are currently a haze of pink/purple flowers. Won't be long now...

And (thank-you for the seed swap) there's Rat's Tail Radish, a pod variety, too.

I sowed my first lot of 'French Breakfast' radish in a big flower pot for patio  (well not huge but quite deep) couple of months ago now and had the most fantastic radishes I've ever had - it was when we were getting rain every day - they just swelled & swelled  :P

since then, have sown 2 more pot fulls - one of the globe variety (no joy whatsoever - and another French Breakfast & also no joy  :'(....so not sure wha'ts gone wrong there....

Altho I believe it was my fault as I just scattered them on top of compost and left them (after watering them in) and there's just these long red 'threads' clinging to the compost....should have covered them I guess.....but going to have another try

I think I will plant some more in the ground and leave the seed tray to see what happens.
