Heard this on TV yesterday

Rarely watch TV but was on my way to Ceefax when I turned on to an Allotment slot on Midlands Today with a gardener called Reg Moule. He was on about Club ROOT. Fair enough, but when they returned to the studio the presenter said something like "Now we know all about Cabbages and Club FOOT."  Sad affliction I know, but the thought of all those cabbages in surgical boots to correct the tendency. I found rather amusing!
