Following advice I got in my other thread I bought a propagator and set off some chilli plants and tomato plants inside.  Now, I am not sure, do I water them everyday while they are in the propagator?  Im not sure what to do with them now.

Thanks

Assuming you watered the compost thoroughly prior to putting them into the propagator you should not need to water them whilst they are in there, presuming you are going to take them out once they germinate.

Hello. If the compost does dry out use a garden sprayer with tepid water in just to dampen the surface.

I like to have a layer of capillary matting & keep that moist. It makes for better heat transfer, as well as keeping things humid.
And fill up any empty spaces to save heat.

I wish I had thought of that Tim ! I have used a folded newspaper previously in order to 'retain' moisture.
The impossible is just a journey away ...
