Got up at 7 for a stolen hour at the lottie this morning before a later apptment in London. Put my posher tog's on and thank god I did:

Spent the morning at a client's offices where the women (30 of them) are all slightly too short (5ft 8" ) slightly too fat (size 10) and slightly too non-photogenic to be models. I hate them all and hope their floorboxes short out…   Having fantsies where they're fed nothing but cake for a month...

Felt fat, frumpy and clunky next to them, brought back childhood memories of sheer torture.  Also reminded me that I need to go in for an industrial tummy tuck or buy a titanium re-inforced corset this weekend.

On a positive note: went to poundland and spent money on loads of stuff to cheer myself up, managed to get my 4" peas in the ground, had chocolate (like THAT's going to help!!). At least I have my husband to tell me I'm beautiful, but at times I think his vision is a little blurred... P*ss*d off at feeling sorry for myself too! AAARGH!

Hello there Girlfriend

Now, now don't fret so much - know exactly where you are coming from.  Don't you just know that you could learn to hate girls like that so easy?

Everytime I feel like that I take out my Nigella Lawson cook books and think well if she can be a domestic goddess (with all her curves) I'm doing OK!! ;D ;D and then I cook something really wicked  ;D 

You put your feet up for the rest of the afternoon - watch something on telly that interests you and have another HUGE chocolate bar and thank the Lord for short sighted husbands.  My DH eyesight must be improving with age as he keeps telling me that I am getting fat and I'm his only investment that has ever doubled in size!!  Now is that fighting talk or what?
