Not cat's pea, Sprout?? Not in the greenhouse, anyway!!

I'm another "problem with peas" person. This year I am DETERMINED to get some!! Have planted them in an old (smallish) ice cream container, modules, fibre pots and loo rolls. Have soaked and sprouted. Now have peas in 2 large pots on my balcony and 2 varieties transplanted in the lottie and doing well. And mange tout modules to go out after the hols. The only thing that didn't really work was the loo rolls - out of about 24 tubes only got germination in 5 (soaked only. Early Onward.) Don't know why but won't use loo roll tubes again The fibre pots seemed really good - strong root growth just coming through the pot, couple of inches top growth and put the whole lot in the soil.
The ice cream container ones slid out and transplanted without too much trouble although they all fell about (larffin maybe?  ;D). It all looks more promising then any of last years efforts so I'm keeping fingers crossed. Have netted them on the plot, maybe unnecessary, but was worried about birds!
