I bought some spuds at the farmers market today, they were called cherie and made the best baked potatoes I have ever eaten, anyone have any idea where to get seed for this variety?

I think Marshalls introduced them, maybe they sell them?

I've not heard of Cherie, Amphibian, but always interested to hear of new varieties that someone can recommend so "googled" and came up with this on a French site
QuoteThe "Cherie", a darling of a potato
With its pinkish tint and fine skin, the Cherie was a natural choice for St. Valentine's Day.

This early French variety, with its oblong shape and fine pinkish skin derives from a cross with the "Roseval". Its firm, yellow and very tasty flesh has excellent culinary qualities.

Let us know if you do find them and grow them ..........
