Seed potatoe problem

Some of my seed potatoes have turned black while chitting, I think this is because of frost damage, will they still produce potatoes, not all the potatoe is black, could I just cut off the bad bit?

It's actually possible to grow potato from a potato skin, so long as you still have an ' eye ' (chit) you should be OK

cheers for the info mike, I have put in 2 rows today, so will plant the black ones tomorrow
