Moving raspberries

I was wondering how raspberries take to being moved.  My canes arrived on Saturday and I've heeled them in for the time being.  I wanted to dig a new bed for them but as I have a bit of a bad back at the moment I'm not sure I'll get that far.  So I was wondering, if I planted them in another ready prepared bed for this year, and then moved them in the autumn, would that mean I won't get any fruit next year because they'll need to settle in again?

Many thanks

They should be OK, I assume they are autumn fruiting?

They might not give a full crop the following year but they will crop and soon settle in.

When planting them give them plenty of manure at their feet and mulch in the spring.

How about planting them in pots? Then, when the time comes to plant  them out, they'll already have the pot soil they're used to.

Thanks both, I hadn't thought of pots.    Three are summer fruiting and I think the others are all Autumn fruiting.
