Sorry another Q, Can you grow onions sets in pots?

Yes, providing the pot is big enough! I have seen competition onions grown this way. I would estimate a 15cm pot would be a minimum.
The impossible is just a journey away ...

Curry has it-yes-if the pot is big enough.But I can only think of two reasons why;

1-to try and grow super competion ones

2-You have no garden/white rot and just have to have a few of your own.

3-You have no bed ready and the sets are spoiling.

4: You can start them off this way as well. As to how much benefit there is, no idea  ;)
