Well obviously the top one for me is planting but then, to get that right you have to do the weeding and the soil prep and the shuffling of other things to make room for new stuff and the piling up of rejects on the compost heap - they are all so satisfying but on different levels............   Sometimes just buying or growing the new plants is excitement enough.

Sad.   But fun!

Favourite job is opening a bottle of chilled white  wine, sitting back and looking over my (growing) kingdom after spending a warm day weeding, digging, sowing, harvesting.

I've voted 'other' as well, cos 'chilling' seems too damned cold, but the bestest time is going back into the garden, showered after spending the whole day a-diggin,a-weedin & a-mowin, with a drink, inspecting what I've achieved - and planning the next onslaught. Bliss. :)

I'm a general potterer...I think. I set out to do a task but always get distracted. Spent most of my time last year poking about in my little sink pond looking for froglets. Oh and blowing bubbles.  Tum te tum   ::)  :D!
